Born in Texarkana Texas
Raised in East Texas and Kansas City, Missouri
Began music studies at age five
Plays and teaches banjo, GUITAR, AND PIANO
Studied music at Goddard College
Plays fingerstyle old time banjo as well as bluegrass and contemporary approaches
Teaches workshops and private banjo, piano, and music theory lessons
Teaches to all right hand techniques: two finger, three finger, and clawhammer
Teaches guitar for flatpick and finger picking, incorporating theory, fretboard knowledge, and more
